Just dropping in to say hello from 14,000 feet above Orange County, Virginia, and quickly approaching Earth at 120 mph at 23 degrees in early June! It was exhilarating at 2 1/2 miles up, free falling for about a minute before deploying the parachute for the last mile. This is what my oldest daughter wanted for her birthday, but it felt like my birthday! Happy Birthday to me, I mean to her!
Skydiving has never really been something I wanted to do. Not that I was scared, but it just never appealed to me. My daughter has asked me to go several times, and I finally said yes. I am glad I did, because it was a thrill falling out of that plane.
