It is amazing how much fun you can have with a $3 plastic colander and a $1 plastic garden shovel! In August, my wife and I went to Westmoreland State Park in Montross, Va, to hunt for fossilized shark’s teeth. We didn’t find anything Smithsonian worthy, but we did find a few small teeth. In case you are wondering, we didn’t find the quarter, it is only for comparison! The small piece in the corner appears to be fossilized dental pavements. It was a fun day trip splashing around in the water!
